Picasso Museum

The Picasso Museum in Barcelona is indispensable for understanding the formative years of Pablo Ruiz Picasso. The genius of the young artist is revealed through the more than 3,500 works that make up the permanent collection.

Thanks to the wishes of Picasso and his friend Jaume Sabartés, Barcelona now has the youthful work of one of the twentieth century’s most significant artists.

The Picasso Museum is located Calle Montcada in the Born area. El Born district is, at the moment, where all the Barcelonians would wish to live. The district is the image of the urban transformation success. Precious streets paved with stones, recovered buildings, luxury stores and bars and, above all, handsome people.
