Cavalia - January 29 to March 2

Featuring 60 horses and 37 artists, the world's greatest multimedia equestrian show is opening its doors to Spanish audiences in 2008, premiering in Barcelona on January 29th. The creator, president and creative director of Cavalia, Normand Latourelle, is one of the pioneers behind Cirque du Soleil, of which he was a member until 1990.

Cavalia is a spectacular journey that has already captivated more than a million and a half people in the US, Canada and Europe since its world premiere in March 2003. In Barcelona, Cavalia will pitch its 30 metre-high Grand White Tent at the Plataforma Marina Fòrum.

Cavalia is an incomparable show, a perfect and wholly original combination of equestrian and performing arts, which traces the evolution of the relationship between man and horse throughout history using a wide variety of different disciplines. Acrobats, dancers, riders and musicians share the stage with 60 horses, resulting in a truly different and enchanting creative experience.
